KCTCS STATE FIRE RESCUE TRAINING

BASIC FIREFIGHTER TRAINING SERIES

The following classes are basic firefighter classes that may be customized for your department's needs. You may choose class room, hands on, or a combination of both. You may choose the length of time spent on each subject.

The curriculum used is the IFSTA Firefighter Essentials, which is the approved basic firefighting curriculum of KCTCS State Fire Rescue Training.

The curriculum is based upon the latest edition of NFPA 1001 for Firefighter I and II.
